Biography: Thomas J. Dunleavy
Thomas J. Dunleavy, Advisor and Consultant
Prior to joining Ambient, Thomas Dunleavy served as a Commissioner for the State of New York’s Public Service Commission, where he championed causes through the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) including regulatory and broadband issues.
Tom is also the former Vice Chairman of the Telecommunications Committee for New York, State Chairman of the FCC/State Universal Service Joint Board and both New York and NARUC’s representative on the North American Numbering Council. He remains active in NARUC.
Prior to his appointment as a Commissioner, Tom served as Deputy Commissioner of New York City’s Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, formerly known as the Office of Energy and Telecommunications.
